Mandatory Competitions for this local pageant
1.  FORMAL WEAR.   Can be custom or off the rack.  10 AND UP MUST WEAR
FLOOR LENGTH DRESS.  9 and under MUST have straps on their dress over both

Modeling—Basic model walk.  We will have a standard T formation marked out on
stage. 3 X’s in back and 1 X in front. Use natural straight pageant walk. Show poise
and grace in this competition. Keep it simple. Modeling scores are not given
however we would like to keep it uniform for beginners as well as old pageant pros!
Babies 11 months and under must be carried on stage by one parent during
Babies are judged only on facial beauty and personality and there are no extra
points or benefits to babies that can stand or walk.
Contestants ages 12-23 months must have a parent on stage with them.
Contestants’ ages 2-3 years must have one parent back stage and may be on
stage only if child will not go on stage otherwise.
Coaching on or off stage or behind judges tables is
NOT allowed.  Coaching does
not mean telling a baby to wave or blow a kiss.  We mean coaching of entire stage

Line up--: No parents, relatives, coaches or makeup artists or hairstylists will be
allowed in Hallway Lineup for children ages 10 and up. This helps prevent
chaos and keeps the hallway clear for pageant personnel.

Tardiness--Contestants MUST check in to each competition 10 minutes prior.  If
not there 10 minutes prior contestant will lose 1 point for that competition per
judge.  If not there for lineup and contestant arrives after competition begins, the
contestant will lose 5 points per judge for that competition.

Good Sportsmanship.  Families and contestants are urged to promote good
sportsmanship throughout the entire competition and throughout hallways, pageant
parties and the hotel. Pageant representatives, judges, various directors and staff
are always around. We are looking for contestants and families with a great spirit in
competition! Bad sportsmanship is grounds for dismissal and disqualification without

Fees:  All entry fees and deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferrable. No
exceptions.  Payments can be made via credit or debit card or PayPal payments.

Dressing Room:  Dressing rooms not guaranteed. See pageant information
packet for complete details.  

Clothing—can be custom made or off the rack. You’re choice! TCP does allow
bling, rhinestones, lace, etc. Show your personal style while
keeping it age appropriate. Formal wear MUST be floor length for contestants ages
10 and up. Dresses must brush the floor.  
Dresses for age 9 and under must be halter top style or have a strap over EACH
No hi low dresses allowed for ages 10 and up.
No slits above the knee allowed for ages 15 and under.
Glitz pageant costumes or cupcake dresses are not allowed.
Baby doll dresses are allowed with minimal bling.  
Google if you are not sure what a glitz pageant dress is.  

Makeup—absolutely no makeup on contestants ages 5 and under. Light school
age makeup on ages 6-19. Keep it simple, flawless and fresh!
Contestants must also possess a simple, flawless natural
makeup look. No heavy make-up allowed. No fake tans, eyelashes, or flippers FOR

Hair—should be elegantly styled. No hairpieces allowed.

Music—will be provided by pageant system except for talent if offered.

Scoring—we use a basic 1-10 scoring system for all events. Scores are available
right after awards.  We will not email or mail them so do not forget them.

Optional contests—can be entered at the door during
pageant check in for $10 each.   

Photography--Parent/Spectator photography is allowed.  

Cash only---during pageant

Ballroom entry fees--Contestant entered free.  Parents, chaperones, friends and
family must pay a door fee to enter the ballroom.  Due to rising ballroom costs
parents are no longer entered for free.  $10 for ages 2 and up.
