COMPETITION INFO FOR STATE 2010

Title Compeition Info:
Contestants will be judged on Formal Wear, On
Stage Introduction and Casual Wear before a select
panel of judges.
Baby Miss and Wee Miss Categories WILL NOT have
to compete in On Stage Introduction.
Formal Wear:
Any color gown may be worn. flower
girl or baby doll dress for Baby Miss and Wee Miss
categories. We are NOT a glitz pageant so keep the
bling minimal. Floor length gowns are required for
ages 10 and up. No exceptions.
Casual Wear:
Off the rack or custom. Theme is red white and blue
No glitz.
Makeup During Competition:
Baby Miss, Wee Miss and Tiny Miss: Absolutely no makeup
is allowed. If a judge can tell you are wearing makeup,
points will be deducted from your score. 10 points per
judge. It is better to play it safe and not wear any makeup
at all.
Little Miss and Young Miss: Light blush, powder, mascara
and tinted lip gloss is allowed. Keep it fresh and clean.
Teen and Miss: Your makeup should give you a natural,
beautiful, flawless look.
TALENT makeup!!!
Makeup of course is allowed for talent portions and not
restricted to guidelines above.
RUNWAY MODEL makeup!! Makeup is allowed however think less
is
more. Fresh clean look is what we strive for.
What Not To Wear:
Heavy makeup, glitzed outfits, wigs, fake nails (little
miss and under), gloves, purses, hats, parasols,
body or hair glitter, visible body piercing or tattoos,
feathers, flowers, corsages, trains, big sleeves, or
large ruffles.
Optional Talent Competition (ages 1 and up):
Up to two per contestant. Entry fee is $25. 2 winners.
Must be under 2 minutes long. We provide stage and
wireless mic. Piano is not available. Live
presentations only. Sound system with CD player
available. We do not accept cassettes. Bring 2 cd's
marked with name, age category. Mark track number.
Optional Runway Modeling Competition (ages 4+)
Up to two per contestant. Entry fee is $25.
2 winners.
Upbeat modeling. Smiling faces, no demure and pouty
looks. Pageant provides upbeat music. 35 second time
limit. Outfit of your choice as long as it is age
appropriate.
Optional Photogenic Competition: all ages
Unlimited entries. $25 each.
8x10 photo required. Nothing smaller will be judged.
black/white or color. Prefer headshots and or shots
from waist up. Bring Photos to pageant check in.
Photos returned on day 2 of pageant.
Optional "Best" Awards: all ages
One winner of each per age category. $25 for all 4. Best
Eyes, Best Smile, Best Hair and Best Attire.
Judged on stage in casual wear competition
Optional Cover Competition: all ages
Entry fee is $25 per pic. Last day to enter is March 1, 2010
Optional Hostess Competition: all ages.
Contestant must sell at least 1 full pages of ads totalling
$200 each. Multiple winners.
Ad sales must be complete by March 1, 2010 and turned
into state pageant office with fees and ads.
Local businesses, friends, family can purchase ads.
State office will provide ad sales sheet upon request.
